Steps to make this PC accessible from Anywhere

    Download and Install only on PC you wish to access remotely.
    Keep PC turned on.

    Go to another PC and get the Viewer.

Shared Folder

Open Shared Folder

  • ShowMyPC Shared Folder provides you with a way to share files between different users or computers.
  • You can transfer files between a Windows, Mac and Linux using this browsers based shared folder system.
  • To share files Open your Shared folder, enter a unique name on all computers.
  • Refresh to see any new files!

Screen Recording

  • ShowMyPC screen recording provides you with a way to record your screen, camera or audio.
  • Save it locally, no data is sent to the cloud.
  • Forgot Password or Change Password Remotely

      If you have forgotten login information of the remote PC:


    • Either you can reinstall the service and set new password physically on the remote PC.
    • Or you can change it from PC service management link. Requested link will be sent to the email used for that PC.
    • This feature is only available in the latest service version. See Screen shot below for getting link in email.
  • How to Remove Service, while you are on the computer?

      If you are in front of the computer, from where you want to un-install service. See how to remove service remotely in the section below if you are not in front of that computer

    • Click on Install Service tab on the left. Download by Clicking the link "Install service on this PC".
    • Once the application is running, click on "Remove Service".
  • How to Remove Service, remotely?

      You can remove service from PC service management link. Requested link will be sent to the email used for that PC.

      When removing service remotely, it may take upto 10 mins for PC to go off your list.
